Regional Business Leaders Meet Up 2018
Under the Auspices of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union
The Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (BBLF) and the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018 co-organise a high-level discussion mottoed Investment Prospective: Western Balkans at NDK, Hall 3 in Sofia, Bulgaria on 16 May 2018. Please note that due to an urgent appointment of some of our speakers the event will start at 11.00 (and not at 10:00 as previously announced) and will close at 12.45 hrs.
The discussion takes place a day before the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Sofia with the aim of presenting the investment and business development prospects of the region. The discussion will seek to encourage regional economic cooperation as an essential part of the European
integration of the countries of the Western Balkans and a key to their progress and welfare.
The event will be hosted by BBLF Chairman Iravan Hira and Minister for the Bulgarian EU Presidency 2018 Liliana Pavlova and will bring together public and private sector leaders at the national and regional level and the EU. Guest speakers include Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Macedonian Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi, businesses operating in Bulgaria and beyond, members of the diplomatic corps. The round-table discussion will focus on the economic potential of the Western Balkans, foreign investment incentives, and sustainable business practices.
