Informal Meeting of EU Agriculture Ministers: Media Advisory


The informal meeting of EU agriculture ministers will take place on 5 June 2018 in the National Palace of Culture, Sofia. Ministers will discuss the Common Agricultural Policy in the new programming period after 2020 and attracting a new generation of agricultural workers in the agricultural sector.  The meeting will be chaired by Rumen Porodzanov, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.

On the day before the meeting, the ministers will visit a Bulgarian bio-farm for vegetables and a winery.

Accreditation information

Accredited journalists can pick up their badges on Monday, 4 June 2018 at the Registration Desk at Entrance B-2 of the National Palace of Culture between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Members of the press arriving in Sofia on the day of the event will be able to get their badges at the same entrance upon their arrival at the National Palace of Culture. Only accredited members of the press will have access to the National Palace of Culture.

Photos and videos

All media opportunities marked in the agenda with “broadcast live” (doorstep statements, handshake, roundtable, press conference) will be streamed live on the Website of the Bulgarian Presidency. Throughout the day, photos and videos will be uploaded in the Photo and Video sections of the Website.
