The conference will be dedicated to youth entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and training, as well as opportunities and prospects for generating new ideas and realising opportunities for young people in Europe. The event will take place on 6 March 2018 from 8.30 a.m. at the National Palace of Culture and will be opened by Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov.
The conference programme consists of three main panels which will examine the current state and role of entrepreneurship education and the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Europe. The most successful European programmes, tools and good practices for promoting and supporting youth entrepreneurship, and the experience and challenges faced by young entrepreneurs in the European Union will be presented.
The programme includes over 25 Bulgarian and foreign speakers who will present the most up-to-date data, programmes and initiatives. Among the confirmed participants are representatives from three Directorates General of the European Commission – DG “Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs”, DG “Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion” and DG “Education, Youth, Sports and Culture” – , representatives from European organisations for youth entrepreneurship including YES, Jeune, Moovjee and Reseau Entreprendre, educational institutions and training organisations from all over Europe, BESCO - The Bulgarian Startup Association, Junior Achievement, LAUNCHub Venture, and GEM Bulgaria.
