"Bulgaria is leading in Europe for women in the ICT industry, and we have decided from our country and during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU to launch a European network Women [email protected] for Europe. Our goal is to create a platform for partnership on initiatives that stimulate the female entrepreneurship and women's participation in the digital industry. To support the promotion of an environment, in which men and women contribute as per their talent and ideas for the sustainable development of the transforming digitally connected world",
said Sasha Bezunhova, founder of BCWT and MOVE.BG, at the [email protected] conference.
The Coalition Women [email protected] for Europe aims to provide more visibility for women role-models and leaders in technology and to focus on their greater participation in the digital economy. The initiative will work to encourage more girls to study engineering and technology disciplines and to develop professionally in the digital industry.
